As per the leaked images, the Galaxy S8 flagship is seen with the dual-curved display. The top of the front panel is incorporated with plenty of sensors and cameras; there are chances of an iris scanner inclusive in that. At the bottom of the phone, a 3.5mm jack, USB-C and a speaker, possibly by Harman is seen. This new design of Galaxy S8 seems to be glass at the front and back and an aluminum frame.
It is reported that Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a better quality display than the present Galaxy S models. The present galaxy S models sports AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
As per the report, Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come in two options, 5.7″/5.8″ and an S8+ version with 6.2″ screen. Also, speculations are made that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 835 and will have a fingerprint scanner on the back and a Bixby AI dedicated button.
According to The Wall Street Journal report claims that Samsung wants to be safe with respect to the battery issues that were seen in the Galaxy Note 7. It is reported that the company has made a contract with Sony to supply lithium-ion battery packs for the Galaxy S8 Smartphone.
The other two companies that will bring in the batteries for the Galaxy S8 flagship are Samsung SDI and Japan’s Murata Manufacturing companies. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphones are speculated to arrive with 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries respectively.
All the rumors and leaks are not confirmed by the tech giant. So, readers are requested to take all the details on Galaxy S8 with a grain of salt. Stay Tuned for more updates.
