Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017: Updates On Expected Smartphone Launches : Tech : Headlines & Global News –

Visitors check HTC mobile phones on the second day of the event at the Fira Gran Via Complex on day 2 of the Mobile World Congress on February 23, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. The annual Mobile World Congress hosts some of the world’s largest communications companies, with many unveiling their latest phones and wearables gadgets.

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is one of the biggest platforms for the Smartphone manufacturing giants to showcase and launch their developments. The event will commence from Monday, February 27 and continue up to Thursday, March 2, 2017. The two venues where the tech giants will be seen with the devices are Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuïc, Barcelona, Spain.


According to Deccan Chronicle, enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the many rumored or leaked launches of various smartphones, whose glimpses have already been surface don internet. Along with those devices, enthusiasts are waiting for Smartphone manufacturing tech giants to showcase their products and future plans and technology that their respective devices will feature.


The Internet is already surfaced with many rumors, hints, and leaks on smartphones that will hit the tech market at Mobile World Congress event in coming days. Here, is the mentioned list of smartphones expected from each company-


Samsung: Recent reports showed the details of the invites released by Samsung and various statements from the company officials claims that Samsung will not arrive with the most awaited Galaxy S8 flagship at MWC 2017. It is reported that Samsung will show some glimpses of its Galaxy S8 flagship and will officially announce the launch date of Galaxy S8.


However, the invite hints that the company is expected to arrive with Galaxy Tab S3 device and the press conference for the upcoming MWC is scheduled on Sunday, February 26, 2017


Nokia: Nokia owned by the Finnish company HMD Global has scheduled its press conference at 4:30 pm CET on Sunday, February 26, 2017. The company is reportedly expected to arrive with two new devices – the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphones along with the old and best handset 3310.


LG: LG was the first Smartphone Company to release its invite for the press conference which will be held on February 26, 2017. The Smartphone expected to be launched in the MWC is the LG G6, which is already being surfaced on internet via many leaks and announcements. LG G6 is expected to be featuring bezel free edge to edge display and 13MP dual camera at the rear having similar field of view as that of human’s.


Lenovo: Lenovo/Motorola has already scheduled its press conference at 4:30 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017, and is expected to launch Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus flagship at MWC 2017.


Sony: There are many expectations that Sony will boom in with five new smartphones at MWC 2017. One of the launches might be including a new flagship with a 5.5-inch 4K display, optimized for virtual reality. Also, reports claim that Sony has scheduled its press conference on Monday, February 27, 2017.


LeEco: LeEco, the Chinese tech giant is expected to arrive with Le 2S and Le 2S Dual smartphones at MWC 2017. As the recent reports claimed that LeEco Le 2S and Le 2S Dual have already TENAA certification and many of its specifications and features have already been leaked on the TENAA website.
