LG G6 is back again with a teaser and this time it’s from the LG blog post in Korean indicating few of the features that the LG G6 is going to feature. It is confirmed that LG G6 will feature two rear 13MP cameras. Also, this rear camera proves 125-degree field of view which is similar to human’s field of view.
According to company’s probable Social page in Korean language, LG G6 will feature two 13-megapixel rear-facing shooters offer a 125-degree field of view, which is the most similar to a human’s field of view. It is claimed that this rear camera will allow the users to intuitively capture the scene they see with their own eyes and reduce distorted edges.
The report also indicates that the camera will be able to shoot square images in a 1:1 ratio. This feature of shooting in square images will make it easier to share on social media platforms like Instagram.
It is also reported that LG G6’s sophisticated dual camera design eliminates the so-called ‘Tuk tuk’, a well-known feature on premium smartphones. Also, the blog report claims that the usability of the camera has been further improved and explains that advantage of dual cameras is that they can alternate between wide angle and the normal camera.
While in the past, when shooting with a wide-angle camera widely, when zooming in, there was a short-cut phenomenon by changing to a general angle. It is claimed that LG G6′ does not have such a break when switching cameras. It is reported that the quality of both cameras is the same, offering upgraded usability just like using a single camera.
Moving on to the front camera, it is reported that the G6’s front camera provides a 100-degree field of view. The other features include a 360-degree panorama mode, Full Vision display with the new 18: 9 aspect ratio and add a variety of user experiences (UX) that add convenience and fun to the camera. Also, a food mode for boosting color saturation is featured in the upcoming LG G6 smartphone.
“The LG G6 is equipped with a smartphone camera that goes from hardware to user experience,” and “We will continue to take advantage of LG’s premium smartphone’s distinctive strengths, we will continue to develop.” said Cho Jun-ho, president of LG’s MC business.
LG is expected to officially launch its new flagship LG G6 on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. Stay tuned for more updates.
